In case of chemical spill

Do this immediately

1. For a large or highly toxic spill
   1. EVACUATE the area
   2. CONTACT Security [(410)516-7777] using your cell phone or an emergency blue-light phone
2. For a small spill
   1. FOLLOW your lab’s procedure for a spill of the appropriate type

Do this when the situation is stabilized

1. CONTACT your lab manager and PI
2. CALL Health, Safety, and Environment [(410)516-8798] before re-entering lab if evacuated
3. WRITE DOWN everything you remember about the incident
